Summary
Due to recent changes in the Etherscan API tiers and coverage, some blockchain data services currently used by BC Vault for BSC (BNB Chain) and Avalanche C-Chain may experience intermittent interruptions until we complete the migration to new data providers.
Impact on BC Vault Services
BC Vault’s wallet and blockchain data features rely on external API data to display:
Transaction histories
Balances
Token and contract metadata
Currently, for BSC (BNB Chain) and Avalanche C-Chain, some of these data API calls may be:
Unresponsive
Partially limited
Returning incomplete data
This is not a problem with the BC Vault application itself, but a result of the underlying data provider changes.
What We Are Doing
BC Vault engineering is actively working to:
Switch to new multichain data providers with reliable API coverage and robust SLA.
Implement fallback data sources for any chains affected by Etherscan limitations.
Improve resilience of blockchain data fetching in future releases.
Our goal is to restore full data functionality on the affected chains as soon as possible with minimal disruption.
We understand how critical real-time blockchain data is for your wallet experience. The Etherscan API changes represent a broader industry shift in how third-party data infrastructure is provided, with a move away from unlimited free access toward tiered and paid models.
BC Vault remains committed to providing secure, reliable multichain support and the upcoming data provider updates will further enhance long-term stability.
