How can I see more details about a transaction?

Modified on Mon, 24 Feb, 2020 at 4:13 PM

In every blockchain transaction there is a lot of information available for you to explore (actually to anyone, as mostly all that is public - except in cases of privacy coins). The basic information that you can see in the BC Vault Application is the following:

- Your wallet address (Click on the RECEIVE button and you will see all your available addresses for particular wallet - some crypto currencies have different Address types):

- Transaction list (Click on VIEW ALL TRANSACTIONS and you will see all transactions linked to all your wallets for a particular crypto currency):

Clicking on a particular transaction will present you with TRANSACTION DETAIL view where you can see the TRANSACTION HASH (circled in red - click on it or the addresses for copy/paste usage):

With any mentioned element you can do additional research on blockchain explorers for any particular crypto coin. For example for BTC, ETH, BCH you can use Blockchain.com.

You can enter your sender wallet address, receiver wallet address or the transaction hash in the explorer for full details about any of them! Some blockchain explorers might be picky about upper/lower case so you may need to try different things such as all characters lowercase/uppercase.
