With BTC type (BTC, LTC, DOGE...) and Cardano (ADA) cryptocurrencies you can change the wallet address that will receive the rest of the funds of the transaction (available from BC Vault v2.0.2).
Simplified example:
If you have 2.0 BTC in your wallet (received in one transaction - this is called an input on BTC blockchain) and send 0.1 BTC to Wallet A what actually happens is:
- There is one 2.0 BTC input available for spending in your wallet
- 0.1 BTC will be sent to Wallet A
- The rest - 1.9 BTC will be sent back to your own wallet you are sending the funds from
Now if you open Advanced options on the send screen (and Advanced mode is enabled in Preferences), you can change the destination of the rest of the funds so you could do:
- There is one 2.0 BTC input available for spending in your wallet
- 0.1 BTC will be sent to Wallet A
- The rest - 1.9 BTC will be sent to Wallet B instead of your own wallet you are sending the funds from
WARNING: BEFORE USING THIS OPTION MAKE SURE, YOU UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE FUNCTIONALITY!
