The Bitcoin ordinals protocol was launched in January 2023. It introduced a way for BTC to allow inscribing of digital content like art onto the Bitcoin blockchain (NFTs). It is still in its early stage and very dividing topic in the community (as they take a lot of space on the BTC blockchain).
Due to technical implications of linking the ordinals to individual satoshi (every BTC is divided in 100,000,000 satoshis (sats)) you could inadvertently send any BTC ordinal (NFT) linked to particular satoshi as a part of transaction that should only send BTC value.
Therefore currently DO NOT send any Ordinals to BC Vault BTC wallets.
